Mr. Ruiz has been involved in the energy sector since 2004, focusing on the Residential and Commercial Construction sector, implementing energy efficiency, renewable energy, sustainability and carbon footprint reduction strategies. His team develop Renewable Energy Projects both in Mexico and in the United States, with strategic partners such as Sunpower/Total Energies and then with IENova. His interest in creating a link between alternative renewable energies and traditional sources has led him to deepen in the energy sector to integrate the sectors and satisfy the needs of his clients and expand in emerging markets in the Oil & Gas market, expanding its reach to European fuels market.

 

In 2014, Mr. Ruiz was named one of the 30 Promises of Mexico in his 30's by the CNN Expansion magazine as one of the Mexicans who will transform the Economy of Mexico.

Mr. Urrea joined the Border team since 2011 where his main task was to establish the Operations of the renewable energy division in Mexico with Border Solar, where he has managed to penetrate the market with a presence in various parts of Mexico and with an expansion of the continuous market in the territory of Mexico. Before joining the Border team, he was operating a services company for the natural gas extraction industry in the State of Texas.  Currently Mr. Urrea manages the day to day operations for the GEBorder across the different market segments from the Renewable side to the Oil & Gas.
